Summary
As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for caring about our guest; your focus will be to respond promptly to the request of guests and other departments. Must perform a combination of the following tasks to maintain guest’s rooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.
Essential Functions

· Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform.
· Ensure that any guest/employees requests are delivered in timely fashion and accordance with hotel operating procedures.
· Provide supplies to room attendants.
· Clean guest floor corridors and fire stairs daily.
· Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of floors by sweeping, polishing, or vacuuming as required.
· Help with the sweeping and wiping of public area stairs and railings.
· Ensure that the housekeeping pantries are appropriately stocked for daily operation.
· Transfer linens to and from storage areas.
· Sort soiled linens separately for laundry Contract Company to pick up.
· Responsible for picking up the trash of offices, floors, and public areas.
· Also, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
Required Education and Experience
· A minimum of (1) year of housekeeping experience.
· A minimum of (1) years of hospitality experience preferred.
· High School education preferred.
· Able to speak and understand Basic English.
· Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment to resolve issues.
· Flexible schedule. Able to work weekends and holidays.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
