Housekeeper Private Home

Smaller, ocean front residence is seeking a professional and experienced Domestic Housekeeper for a career opportunity. Excellent housekeeping skills are required to maintain the high standards of this smoke-free residence, including care of fine furniture and fragile items.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Window cleaning
• Daily housekeeping to keep home clean, tidy and organized
• Launder and care for clothing, shoes, accessories, bed linens
• Change linens, and gather used linens such as sheets and towels for laundering
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness of bathroom sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, etc.
• Report repairs and replacements that may be needed when encountered on the job
• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products
• Running errands for residences principals
• Coordinating and monitoring people servicing home when necessary

Qualifications:

• Excellent housekeeping and laundering/ironing skills.
• Must have excellent, verifiable references
• Extensive pre-employment background check and drug screening is required
• Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation
• Must be very fluent in English; must be eligible to work in the U.S

• A professional who is honest, flexible, well-mannered and energetic
• Able to work alone and manage time to complete all tasks as needed

Supervisory Responsibility
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Work Environment
The housekeeper performs their work in a formal home setting. While primarily responsible for the cleaning of household areas, they may come into contact with guests and service providers. There is also one small dog in the residence.

Physical Demands
Walks, sits, stands, bends, kneels, lifts, and moves continually during working hours. Must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 30 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 32-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overtime work will rarely be necessary.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Previous housekeeping for residents in their personal home is required.
• Formal housekeeping training is a plus

Pay: $20.00 – $22.50 per hour
