Job Description: $250.00 sign-on bonusThis position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in each guest room.

Guest Room Attendants refresh rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as, thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in.

Responsibilities: Clean both check-out and stayover guestroomsThoroughly clean guest rooms including: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dustingRestock and replace used items within guest roomsCommunicate clean status of each room upon completionRemove room service trays and tables from guest roomsStock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all timesCheck all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working orderRespond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner Qualifications: At least one month of previous hotel houskeeping expereience requiredBasic English skills are required (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities, give directions to guests)Candidates must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest and manager requests, and work as a team playerMust be detail oriented, possessing a friendly, approachable demeanor and high standard for cleanliness and organizationAbility to stand, bend and do repetitive movements for long periods of timeAbility to frequently bend, squat, and reach overheadAbility to lift up to 20-25 pounds intermittently, and occasionally 50 poundsAbility to push and pull fully stocked housekeeping supply cartMust be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situationsMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysOmni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer
