Housekeeper

White Horse Village (WHV),a retirement community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking to add housekeepers to their team! The housekeeper is responsible for a variety of housekeeping duties that occur in the Independent Living homes, apartments, the nursing units, the club house, etc! We are willing to train anyone who wants to join us as a housekeeper, no experience necessary! This housekeeper position is great for someone who is looking to break into the working world, or looking for a change!

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Attends monthly meetings and training sessions as scheduled
• Cleans all assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the ten step cleaning procedure
• Seeks out areas that require cleaning and take initiative to complete
• Completes all tasks assigned by your supervisor.
• Responds to a paging system in the appropriate manner
• Completes job of Floor tech/Porter (As directed)
• Completes job of Laundry worker (As directed)
• Follows all duty lists
• Collects and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
• Dusts, mops, and damp mops floors following procedures as assigned
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items needed to maintain a clean safe environment for our patients, visitors and staff
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
