**Description:****Providence is calling a Housekeeper (** **0.94 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence** **Benedictine Nursing Center i** **n Mount Angel** **, OR.****Apply Today!

Applicants that meet qualifications will receive a text with some additional questions from our Modern Hire system.**We are seeking a Housekeeper who will clean and sanitize rooms and furnish assigned work areas.

Follows established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building.**In this position you will have the following responsibilities:**+ Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain cleanliness standards+ Clean and sanitize areas by dust mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, polishing, and washing+ Empty trash cans, clean windows, change drapes, wash walls, furniture, and equipment, and change light bulbs+ Cross-trains to janitorial procedures+ Always introduce self to patients, families and visitors; knocks before entering rooms+ Ability to work on his/her own with minimal supervision+ Perform the physical activities required of the position+ Possible be exposed to blood borne pathogens+ Possibly be exposed to chemical and respiratory hazards**Qualifications:****Preferred qualifications for this position includes:**+ High School Diploma **-OR-** GED+ One (1) year housekeeping experience**About Providence in Oregon:**As the largest healthcare system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.The Providence Experience begins each time our patients or their families have an encounter with a Providence team member and continues throughout their visit or stay.
