Must enjoy people, driving and be outgoing and personable. CDL and Non CDL positions available.Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.: Provide transportation into town for guests of the hotel Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel shuttles Maintain friendly conversation with guests while driving in a safe manner Help the bellman with the day to day operations when specifically asked to do so Inform guests about our schedule and pick up policy Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and entryway Perform other tasks as assigned by the front desk or supervisor Willing to help other departments and not neglect own responsibilities Report any accidents or problems with the vehicles to a supervisor and to the security department Attend team meetings, as required Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties, as assignedMinimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job: High school diploma or GED Must enjoy people, driving, and be outgoing and personable Must present a professional, well groomed appearance Adhere to all safety policies Must be on time for the beginning of the shift Handle the shuttle equipment with the highest level of care and strive to be incident free Obey the city speed limits and much less when the road conditions dictate Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corps Service Excellence standards CDL drivers license is preferredPhysical Requirements: Must be minimum 25 years of age Communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal Sit for long periods of time and lift 75 lbs (guest luggage and belongings) Drive and work in all kinds of weather conditions, including snow, extreme cold and heat Must have a valid drivers license and meet insurability standardsMiscellaneous information: This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay Position subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol random testing program Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check Position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Pursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporations total compensation package for employees.
