Role Responsibilities:
As a Breakfast Attendant, you have the responsibility to give our guests the best hospitality experience they can have by:
-Maintaining a clean dining room and food service area
-Maintain work and china storage area clean and organized.
-Provide professional, competent, and prompt service with attention to guest needs, as per company policies
-Arrive to work in uniform with a smile and “Can-do” attitude
-Restock food and supplies as needed to ensure consistent service
-Continuous cleaning of the area to provide all guests the same experience regardless of their breakfast arrival
-Prepares miscellaneous food and drink items as assigned.
-Prepares and maintains beverages such as coffee fresh at all times.
-Assist with prep-cook set up, as necessary.
-Ensures proper knowledge of all menu items.
-Maintain a backup supply of silverware, glassware, napkins, menus, and other tools necessary to ensure proper and adequate service requirements.
-Removes soiled dishes from tables in pantry areas (inside/outside).
-Ensure proper sanitation of work area.
-Assist in the preparation of any banquet and special events as necessary.
-Receive and store purchases.
-Return lost items to the front desk.
-Adhere to all fire, safety and security procedures according to hotel policies.
-Other duties as assigned.
-Communicate to management any guest concerns that need to be addressed
Qualifications:
-Previous guest service experience preferred
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
-Highly responsible & reliable
-Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
-Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
-Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
-Frequent, pushing, pulling
