We are looking for motivated, adaptable, multi-skilled, friendly, and competent team members that can help us grow to a new level of excellence in Indiana.General Duties and Responsibilities:As a Hotel Ambassador, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform all check-in and check out tasksManage in-person, online, and phone reservations.Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card dataRegister guests collecting necessary informationWelcome guests upon their arrival and assign roomsProvide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenitiesLiaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needsConfirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guestsUpsell additional facilities and services, when appropriateMaintain updated records of bookings and paymentsWelcome customers upon entrance and confirm reservationsAcquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendationsTake and distribute messages or mail and redirect callsEnsure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standardsDeal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patienceCheck stocking levels of all consumables and replace with appropriateAssist housekeeping as neededAdhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices, includes wearing PPE (face mask and gloves when in contact with guest rooms and materials)Other job duties as requested (this may change depending on the season/business demand)Education, Qualifications and Experiences:High school diploma or GED equivalentPost secondary education preferred but not requiredHospitality experience preferredKnowledge and Competencies:The ideal candidate will be guest driven and extremely proactive with an outgoing, charismatic and approachable character.
