What you will doThe Healthcare Technology Solutions Manager is part of our Complex Market business at Johnson Controls.
Our goal is to create “Smart Buildings” with the most up-to-date and progressive Technology and programs for our customers.This person will cover the healthcare industry accounts in the Western half of the US.
This business focuses on developing converged solutions, comprised of business/information technology and vertical market systems and building systems, to drive business mission value & outcomes for our customers, which differentiates Johnson Controls’ core building systems specifically focused on the Healthcare markets.This is a remote position.
Must live within the region and travel to customer sites as needed (up to 25%).
The team provides the missing “technology” piece and supports the local market’s channel efforts to identify, propose, sell and deliver new construction, prime retrofit and technology refresh scopes of work.
We help sales deliver Internet of Things (IoT) outcomes through systems integration, design-assist, and converged technology solutions, producing smarter this role, the Healthcare Technology Solutions Manager provides consultative sales support and builds / leverages C-suite relationships to ensure profitable growth of Complex Market business, which falls into three main categories: Building, Business, and vertical market systems.This role will be specifically focused on leveraging clinical, building and IT technology expertise as a differentiator in our sales pursuits.
This includes supporting the assigned sales representative with subject matter expertise for Healthcare vertical market, sales strategy and customer discovery sessions with clinicians and the C-suite to identify, sell, and deliver technology & integration solutions and services (Johnson Controls and Ecosystem partners) to our healthcare customers.You will be supporting sales engagements in a fast pace, team
– oriented sales environment.
This includes multiple tasks across numerous sales engagements by providing integration support within the discovery, verify, present/propose and close stages of the Johnson Controls sales process with credibility and passion to drive sales resultsHow you will do itSupport the Complex Market sales team in presales activities including capturing new opportunitiesDrive aggressive sales growth; by exceeding assigned sales plan and NA Healthcare plan number.Align leading and lagging sales performance metrics to support scalable and profitable growthDevelop and implement sales force training and education to scale the business.Focus on Design-Assist Healthcare contract sales (Construction and Non construction opportunities)Foster and strengthen C-suite relationships at target Healthcare clients.Fine-tune a Technology Navigation (ideation/ discovery) session model that is impactful and scalable.Develop and internally commercialize sales tools and resources to support the methodology such as: Project Development Agreement (PDA) contract language, white papers, case studies, etc.Actively participate, with the sales teams, to build winning sales strategies and support models for Healthcare pursuits.Coach sales teams from initial pursuit through contract capture.Leverage C-suite relationships and effective communication skills, within a highly matrixed organization to engage early in healthcare sales opportunities and to deliver sales municate Technology integrations and project expectations to Operations (project delivery) team.Function as Healthcare SME and continue to grow and expand healthcare policy, standards, and technology knowledge.Provide opportunity-focused, healthcare training to sales teams and Operations teams.Conduct monthly operational reviews with stakeholders to review health of the business (KPIs), align, priorities and remove any barrier for growth.What we look forRequiredBachelor’s degree in engineering, business or healthcare-related teractions with clinicians, within Healthcare market.
This includes holding management/executive level roles within the Healthcare industry.10 years’ experience in sales including 5 years’ experience in national sales position a plus.
Includes Technology Solutions projects.Track record of developing strong C-Suite relationships and consultative sales.Experience in developing, designing and executing complex sales enablement strategies and implementations in a highly matrixed organization.Strength in project management including construction projects and ROI discussions.Experience in leading process change management.Ability to communicate effectively and drive the complex market sales vision, mission and strategy of the organization.Superior organizational and problem solving abilities.Strong consultative selling skills.Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders to understand needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.PreferredMBA a plusLEAN and Six Sigma experience/certifications preferred.What else you will getSupportive team environment and add to that a competitive salary, best in class benefits package starting on day 1, which includes medical, dental & vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, paid time off and career growth opportunities.
