nn nn Delivers par stock supplies to identified units and cleans as per department policy and procedures.

nn nn Operates and cleans dish machine and assigned equipment per department procedures, including routine sanitizer solution and temperatures checks.

nn nn Reports needed maintenance or repairs of equipment used.

nn nn Transports garbage, and recyclable materials to assigned areas.

nn nn Communicates any patient or customer related problems to appropriate personnel.

nn nn Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.

nn nn Maintains a clean, sanitary working environment.

nn nn Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers and per SDS sheets.

nn nn Utilizes equipment in performing job functions according to department safety procedures.

nn nn Follows facility, department, Morrison and Compass safety policies and procedures to include incident reporting.

nn nn Follows facility and departmental infection control policies and procedures.

nn nn Follows the facility’s protocols for Hazardous Materials and Waste Program.

nn nn Adheres to Emergency Preparedness Program.

Participates in disaster drills as appropriate.

nn nn Adheres to Life Safety Program and participates in fire drills as appropriate.

nn nn Responds to utility failures following department guidelines.

nn nn Adheres to facility confidentiality and patient’s rights policy as outlined in the facility’s HIPAA policies and procedures.

nn nn Wears name tag identification.

nn nn Participates and attends departmental meetings and staff development programs as appropriate.

nn nn Exhibits pleasant and cheerful demeanor and maintains a helpful attitude towards employees, physicians, patients and visitors.

nn nn Reads and complies with all policies and procedures of Morrison and Compass as appropriate.

nn nn Performs other tasks as may be assigned.

n Qualifications n n What You Will Need: n nn KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: nn General knowledge of recipe execution and adherence is required along with sanitary work procedures.
