Dishwashers have one of the most important jobs in the hospitality industry.
Dishwashers assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots/pans, kitchen utensils, etc.
This position also aids in upholding state-specific health department standards in the kitchen.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Rinse dirty dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils, etc.
and place them in appropriate dish racks for processing in the dish machine
* Maintain the dishwasher’s chemical levels to ensure sanitation of dishes.
Fill/ empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions for kitchen pots/pans and other utensils as necessary.
* Sweep debris in the kitchen/prep area and mop floors after service and collects and removes kitchen trash
* Some locations use dishwashers for some prep items
* Can be a career path to cook
