The Director of Banquets leads a team of banquet managers and support staff in the delivery of service and hospitality at a premier hotel property.
Responsible for establishing and implementing service standards and best practices in a high-volume environment, to create an extraordinary client and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain service standards for catering and banquets.
Collaborate with hotel sales and events team to create successful service plans.
Motivate, train, and develop team in growing business.
Ensure consistent compliance with labor and wage laws.

Create client and guest raves with each interaction.
Continually raise the bar on the hotel’s event experience.

– Seeing opportunities others haven’t-and creating opportunities others wish they’d thought of first Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience 5 Years Catering and/or Hotel Banquet Management 5 Client Management in a high profile setting a plus Experience with POS Systems Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, CaterXpert a plus) Knowledge of OT and NY State Labor Laws
