This summer, we are hiring for the following positions: Adventure Guide Soar through the air as a Zipline Guide and enjoy the pleasures of working outside in beautiful Northern Michigan.

Food & Beverage / Culinary Team Join the Food & Beverage squad at BoyneMountain and work as a Line Cook, Dishwasher, or Pantry Cook, in one of our resort themed restaurants with a fun, focused, and determined team!

function gtag_report_conversion(url) { var callback = function () { if (typeof(url) != ‘undefined’) { window.Location = url; } }; gtag(‘event’,’conversion’, { ‘send_to’: ‘AW-605908421/x7T8CM_22aMCEMXb9aAC’, ‘event_callback’: callback }); return false;}ResponsibilitiesAdventure Guide The essential job functions of the Adventure Guide are: Meet, greet and register guests Assist and lead participants with gearing-up, safety orientation and general tour information Guide guests safely through every element of Zipline Segway, Tube Park, Nordic Skiing, and Mountain Biking activities Communicate and point out items of interest included throughout each tour Manage risky behavior and maintain control of the tour group at all times Ensure trails and lines are maintained to standards and report any concerns Develop new ideas and curriculum programming to fit the expanding needs of guests Line Cook / Pantry Cook The essential job functions of the Line Cook are: Preparing food according to food handling guidelines and cooking procedures Measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipe or use record to prepare and prep food items Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period Communicating and coordinating production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team Possessing knowledge and/or become familiar with all kitchen equipment Adjusting thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters, kettles, etc Observing and testing foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing with thermometer to determine proper preparation and cooking Plating and portioning food and maintain consistency according to presentation specifications, using records or specs Labeling, dating and rotating all stored food Performing closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas Dishwasher The essential job functions of the Dishwasher are: Rinsing, scrubbing and scraping food from all dirty dishes, silverware, and cookware and washing them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dish washing machine Placing all clean dishes in proper storage areas Cleaning and maintaining work areas, equipment and utensils Removing garbage and place refuse in designated pickup area Cleaning drains, disposals and sinks to ensure proper drainage Following all health regulations and assisting in maintaining a sanitary environment Setting up dish machine and ensuring machine is operating properly Sweeping and moping kitchen floors Washing worktables, walls, refrigerators and other kitchen surfaces Food Server / Front of House The essential job functions of the Food Server are: Greeting guests Providing prompt, professional food and beverage service Following up with guests Cashing out guests checks Maintaining service area and other areas as assigned Housekeeper The essential job functions of the Housekeeping Room Attendant are: Clean guest rooms to established resort standards to ensure guest satisfaction and prompt check-in times Examine rooms, halls, and lobbies, and report any maintenance concerns to supervisor Ensure cleaning checklist for every room is complete and inspect work to meet standards of cleanliness Take inventory to ensure adequate supplies.

Restock carts and storage closets Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or information Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance Assist other room attendants when necessary in any area of the resort Complete section reports and other required paperwork in a timely manner Lifeguard The essential job functions of the Lifeguard are: Observe and maintain all waterpark rules and regulations Observe all water areas and assure maximum safety of all pool patrons Assist in keeping facility, especially pool/deck clean of debris and refuse Learn all aspects of the Emergency Action Plan and be ready to respond quickly to all emergency situations Administer emergency first aid to injured guests Complete required records and reports on time Perform opening and closing safety check of area and equipment QualificationsAdventure Guide This position might be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Line Cook / Pantry Cook This position might be for you if: You are 18 years old You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) You have previous kitchen experience You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays Dishwasher This position might be for you if: You are at least 16 years old You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays You are able to lift up to 25 pounds You are able to stand for long periods of time Food Server / Front of House This position might be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You have achieved a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) You are interested in a customer service position You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays You are able to lift up to 50 pounds You have strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail You enjoy working with others Housekeeper This position might be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Lifeguard This position might be for you if: You are at least 16 years old You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
