Located just east of downtown Kansas City, Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City is a Midwestern entertainment hub that offers something for everyone.  Ameristar Kansas City has one of the largest casino floors in Missouri, amazing dining venues, a newly renovated luxury hotel and more.

Ameristar also offers convenient parking in a five-level, 2,660 space parking structure with an enclosed, climate-controlled walkway to the casino and entertainment center.  Ameristar Kansas City is seeking a  Hotel Deep Cleaner.  The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed cleaning during the daily housekeeping maintenance.

A hotel deep cleaner extends the life of a hotel room by performing preventative maintenance procedures to ensure that every area of the room is serviced.  The hotel deep cleaner is part of a team who prides itself on providing a high level of guest services to our hotel guests.   
High dusting and detailing all the high areas of the guest-room.

Clean and detail wall mounted and ceiling mounted lights.

Detailed cleaning of window areas including removing and maintain cleanliness of drapes and sheers.

Vacuum the PTAC unit grates.

Service, inspect bed(s), remove linens and clean area under and around bed.

Wash walls, baseboards and doors.

Detail cleaning of all guest-room furniture.

Inspect and replace any worn or missing room collateral
Repair surfaces, furnishings, and equipment.

Scrub floor tile and grout.

Deep clean tub, toilet and sink areas of bathroom.

Edging and cleaning carpets.

Basic Maintenance skills with concerns to plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting.

May assist in removal and disposal of old equipment and trash in the shop
May perform general maintenance duties to ensure a clean and safe facility
Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
Ensures the correct parts/materials are pulled for work orders
Signs out parts and equipment
Must be physically able to lift, load and unload materials
Must be able to stand, bend and walk frequently
Must be able to lift, carry and move materials or heavy objects up to 100+ lbs.

Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building equipment on a scheduled basis
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required. 
Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.
