Supv. Pathology-Hematology

Responsible for coordinating and supervising the performance of the technical staff in the assigned Unit. Ensures patient samples are properly prepared for review and diagnostic evaluation by the Pathologists. Ensures that the Section runs smoothly, ensures turnaround time meets or exceeds established guidelines, and that all quality and safety requirements are met at all times. Screens Cytopathology (preparation of samples, screening and reviewing slides consistent with department’s quality and productivity).
