Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant / Health Plan And Provider

ZS is expanding its Health Plan and Provider (HPP) practice, for which we seek a Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant.

Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultants serve on project teams that deliver high-quality projects to clients.

Associate Consultants possess unstructured problem solving skills as well as strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions for health plan clients

• Conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses on key Health Plan issues;

• Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, Confirmit and ZSs proprietary software;

• Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations;

• Develop Health Plan client relationships and serve as key point of contact on aspects of projects;

• Provide client and ZS teams project status updates;

• Create project deliverables and implement solutions;

• Advance problem solving skills and improve ZSs capabilities;

• Guide and mentor Associates on teams.​​​​​​;

• Play an active role in building the Health Plan practice and contribute to the development of thought leadership pieces in the space.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree required in any discipline with strong academic performance in analytic and quantitative coursework (business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics or relevant fields);

• 2-4 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience.

A PhD may substitute in lieu of work experience;

• Experience with solutions targeted for health plans and/or an interest in healthcare business processes/analytics strongly preferred;

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with a creative angle;

• Strong oral and written communication skills;
