– Current Geriatric experience a must Our healthcare facility is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated and responsible PRN Speech Language Pathologist’s to join our team.

Experience in SNF a must.

The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing for his or her patients and exceeding expectations.

As a Speech Language Pathologist you will facilitate the recovery of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for the patients who come through our facility.

If you are an accountable and reliable individual who truly cares about the well-being of others, then we would like to meet you Responsibilities and Duties: Create, administer and organize individualized plans of treatment for patients Instruct clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement Educate patients and family members about various topics such as communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings Communicate with the dietary department in regards to rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions Participate in workshops and in-service meetings with staff Maintain records and documentation on the patients Qualifications and Skills MS in Speech Therapy from an accredited speech-language pathology program Licensed to practice in the state of Florida CPR certified Must have current COVID test prior to hire.
