We are hiring a PRN (as needed) Speech Therapist to be a part of our team of experienced professionals in a setting where you will provide clinical speech pathology services to adults and pediatric patients at the acute, skilled and outpatient levels of care. Job SummaryResponsibilities include:Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development and is able to respond to specific issues and data regarding the patient’s statusProvide diagnostic assessments of communication disorders including, but not limited to disorders of speech, language, fluency, voice, cognition, memory and swallowingDevise treatment plans and intervention strategies for patientsProvide therapy services for remediation of communication disorders and/or dysphagiaProvides complete documentation regarding evaluation, education, treatments given, interdisciplinary work, goals and discharge planningPerform other duties and functions as assignedDemonstrate behaviors that support the hospital’s mission, vision and valuesDemonstrate knowledge of and adherence to all hospital and departmental policies and proceduresDemonstrate strong customer service skills__________________________________________Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics is an Equal Opportunity Employer, offering highly competitive wages, excellent benefits, including IPERS, and a warm, family-oriented workplace.
