We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of educators to support a part-time SLP for the 2021-2022 School Year.

ABOUT THE SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ROLE:
Approximately 2.5 days per week – Wednesdays, Thursdays, 1/2 morning Fridays Supporting students in 6th-8th grade
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with related services professionals, administrators, and parents to observe, plan, implement, monitor, and facilitate the generalization of oral and written communication skills.

Use a multitude of service delivery options, evidence-based practices and facilitate generalization of communication skills.

Monitor individual progress towards measurable goals and objectives.

Advocate for the individual’s communication needs across a variety of settings.

Provide direct and indirect interventions/therapy to students according to their special education Individualized Education Program (IEPs).

Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Speech Illinois PEL with an endorsement for Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience working in a K-8th grade environment is preferred
