Senior Product Manager – Clinical Chemistry

As the Sr Manager, you will develop specific business cases, marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement against the competition in collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, alliance management and sales to support growth of the product line.

The Sr Manager reports directly to the Director of Global Clinical Chemistry Product Management for the Chemistry Immunoassay (CCIA) Business Unit.

BEC Diagnostics and the Clinical Chemistry Immunoassay business unit are committed to delivering to customers a comprehensive and industry leading portfolio of innovative new products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

• Identifies, develops, and presents business cases with financials for new products or current product improvements to sr.

leadership

• Develops plans to collect customer insights and ability to execute customer survey studies

• Gathers and assesses market and competitive landscape as well as global trends

• Able to create and present technical information including product pipeline to VIP customers and customer forums

• Interfaces with suppliers or companies presenting new product opportunities

• Collaborates with Global Product Marketing to lead the commercialization process to ensure successful product launch to realize business goals

• Develops product line forecasts in collaboration with Global Marketing and Supply Chain Planning and manage inventory interruptions

• Develops and executes product life cycle management activities

• Responsible member of a core team member and may need to lead sub-team discussions or meetings on specific topics or products

• Be a technical product expert and manage the growth and profitability of a product portfolio

The essential requirements of the job include

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years’ experience Or Master Degree with 12+ years’ experience or Doctoral degree infield

• Hands-on experience and/or education in science area with work experience in medical, diagnostics or related healthcare field

• Ability to influence cross culturally/functionally to take action and understand dynamics of different markets

• Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems while adhering to policies and procedures

• Results oriented individual with focused urgency and able to work independently; self-motivated for continued learning

• Strong presentation skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous preferred experience in

• Knowledge of IVD industry, IVD technology, clinical laboratory science or related field

• 3+ years Product Management experience in laboratory diagnostics, life sciences, or related field

• Strong business acumen in global clinical laboratory environment

• Strong technical and financial aptitude; experience in financial analysis/modeling skills

• Knowledge of competitive environments and laboratory workflow processes

• Marketing and/or sales experience

• People management experience
