RN, Division Resource Pool 1 Patient Care Administration

Purpose: The purpose of the Division Resource Pool – 13 Week Contract Assignments is to attract new (external) nurses to become team members during times of significant increase in patient volume.

• Members of the Division Resource Pool will commit to work either two (2) or three (3), twelve (12) hour shifts each week, as determined and agreed to by the director of the unit.
• Will float as necessary, according to skill level, to units within any of the UF Health Central Florida Division.
• Shifts are not guaranteed; in the unlikely event that a Division Resource Pool Team Member is not needed due to census drops, his/her shift may be cancelled.
• Overtime will be paid in accordance with FLSA, based on 40 hour work week.
• Division Resource Pool Team Members will be classified as temporary employees and are not entitled to any health/welfare benefits (except as required by the Affordable Care Act), 401(k) or time off benefits.
• Division Resource Pool Team Members may be allowed to transfer into permanent positions at the end of their contract term if they chose to do so (standard RN rates and benefits will apply).
• Division Resource Pool Team Members are not eligible for any other incentive bonus the facility offers.
• Division Resource Pool Team Members must comply with all UF Health Central Florida Division behavior standards and other policies/procedures.

Eligibility:

• Current licensure in State of FL as RN
• Minimum 2 years-experience as a RN
• Current BLS and ACLS, PALS certification as required by job description
• Excellent customer service and critical thinking
• This program is not available to current UF Health Central Florida (UFHCF) team members or former UFHCF team members who have been separated from UFCFH for less than 3 months.
