Job Summary and Qualifications
Job Summary: Supports department by providing care to patients requiring all types of respiratory support including critical, emergency, general therapy, and infant transport.
Supports organizational improvement by teaching and participating in the management of resources for patient care.
Required Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Care OR Completion of Respiratory Care Program Accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
Preferred Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Care OR Completion of Respiratory Care Program Accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) and 20 years of experience
Required License: Registered by NBRC; a current North Carolina License issued by North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) and a current BCLS.
Preferred License: ACLS, PALS, NRP (Pediatric-Perinatal Specialty)
Preferred Experience: 2 Years Critical Care
