Columbine Commons Health & Rehab is located in Windsor, CO and is a beautiful facility that provides services including 24-hour skilled nursing care, physical, occupational, respiratory, speech-language therapy, group and individual activities, and transportation to medical appointments.
We are accepting applications for a Full-Time or Part-Time Resident Assistant able to work:6a-2:30p or 2p-10:30pMon-Fri with alternating weekendsSome holidays (premium holiday pay)Resident Assistant
– RAProvides supportive assistance to residents and to the nursing department in a manner that enhances each resident’s quality of care and quality of life by performing tasks and job duties that do not require CNA or nursing licensure to perform.Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor.Answers call lights and obtain help if unable to provide assistance.Strips and makes unoccupied beds.Passes water, switches out water and encourages drinking.Assists with meals including taking meal orders, pass and sets up meal trays, documents % of meal consumed from try and enters into a computer database.Offers activities.Inquire about resident’s needs.
Provides simple grooming.Clean, maintain and monitor some medical equipment in resident’s rooms.
Empties trash and soiled linen.
And other duties as assigned.
Resident Assistant RequirementsPreferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
