The opportunity: We are seeking part time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform on-site psychiatric consultations within the Staten Island area in the NY State.

We offer a exceptional salary of $150,000.00
– $200,000.00 benefits annually Flexible work hours are available.

The responsibilities: Provide medication and treatment recommendations (no prescribing required).

Identify co-morbid mental health conditions.

Recommend proactive behavioral interventions to avoid unnecessary hospitalizations.

Proactively follow-up with patients to assess for efficacy of recommended interventions.

Educate patients, families and facility staff on psychiatric best practices.

Integrate pharmacological and behavioral best practices, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

The candidate: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Active New York State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License ANCC Board Certification Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Strong patient assessment skills.

Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic.

Must have own means of transportation and should be ok to travel long commutes.
