Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Position Status: Part-time 20 hours a week potential for full-time.

Location: Fort Collins, CO Position Summary: As a Licensed APN you will provide direct professional services in the evaluation and treatment of clients in a full circle program.

Function as the medical team representative on a multidisciplinary treatment team designed to offer comprehensive behavioral health services.

Evaluate patients for medical disorders and determine the appropriate course of treatment for the patients.

Primary focus of this position will be mental health, psychiatry, and addiction management.

The ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Being able to maintain documentations and comply with county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to health care.

Wage: $102,000 to $155,000.

Requirements: Advanced Practice Nursing degree (APN) or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited university.

At least 2 years’ experience (post residency) treating/servicing mental health communities.

DEA Certification with Colorado license to practice.

Preferred: Bilingual/Bicultural.

Strong understanding of substance use treatment and knowledge of withdrawal management processes; willingness to learn.

Lived experiences and understanding and commitment to Medication Assisted Treatment and harm reduction.
