Job Duties
The Project Manager is responsible for leading a research team in conducting a community-based study to address barriers to health care access among gender and sexual orientation diverse populations. This position will be responsible for overseeing a research study funded by the National Institutes of Health. Primary job characteristics include managing staff hiring/training, staff, and resource budgeting, maintaining and reaching project timelines and milestones, working across departments including research ethics, travel, and purchasing, and serving as a liaison with community partners. Individuals with experience or demonstrated interest in research relating to the health and well-being of diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
This position includes both in-person and telecommuting work-day structure.Candidates from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island areas will be considered.
Salary range based upon experience: $60,000 to $80,000

About the Program
Perception Programs has partnered with the University of Connecticut on a number of exciting research projects, mainly focused on individual living with or at-risk for HIV/AIDS.

We have 16 programs that provide a continuum of care for people with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders that includes residential treatment, IOP, outpatient, medication management, case management and supportive housing.
