Physician – General Surgery – Breast Surgery – Employed Breast Surgery Position – Atlanta, Georgia

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) seeks  a full-time, fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist who will deliver cutting-edge breast cancer surgical care to the members of Kaiser Permanente Georgia.  Outpatient clinic is based mostly at the Glenlake Medical Office with some time spent at the   Southwood Medical Office.

  Breast surgery is currently performed at 2 hospitals – Emory St.

Joseph and Emory Midtown – and 1 ambulatory surgery center.  The new breast surgeon will join a highly coordinated and collegial team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, dedicated breast radiologists, and plastic surgeons providing multidisciplinary breast care within the Southeast Permanente Medical Group.  Experience with oncoplastic surgical technique and nonwire localizations is desirable.

  The candidate must be board-eligible or board-certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and must be either enrolled in or have successfully completed  a breast surgical oncology fellowship program.
