NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency (NHDFMR) is seeking collaborative forward-thinking leaders to assist in furthering its mission of educating physicians who are competent, compassionate community-based leaders as well as faculty development.
NHDFMR is a longstanding, highly successful 8-8-8 training program focused on population health, systems thinking, while caring for the underserved.
Under the direction of the Program Director (PD), the Associate Program Directors (APDs) will oversee the progressive graduate medical education program, maintain ACGME compliance in the medical education of residents and development of faculty.
This position may be shared between 2 faculty members, one of which must be a Family Medicine Physician.
Responsibilities include direct resident education, committee participation, department leadership in collaboration with the Program Director, recruitment of residents and faculty, resident support, scholarly activity involvement (STFM Conference Attendance) and leadership development.
For Family Medicine Physicians in this position, he/she will have at least one (1) day of direct clinical care in one of our two clinics, Family Health Center or Hillsboro Family Health Center, as well as at least one half (1/2) day of resident precepting.
Our ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years’ experience as a core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
