The role of a Physician is vital to helping AHF with our mission to provide prevention outreach to our clients.
Within their duties, this position maintains standards for productivity set by AHF; such as adequate provider staffing in the healthcare center to ensure the smooth flow of patients.
In addition, the Physician is responsible for projecting and integrating the Mission and Core Values of the organization..
The Physician contributes by also identifying and helping the overall need of general medical care for all patients.
Key responsibilities include attending medical provider meetings to discuss patient updates.
In addition, this position works closely with the medical team in order to provide quality care to every AHF client..
The Physician promotes team-work, good interpersonal relations and communication among staff in the clinic and/or department.
This position adds consistent value to the team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible..
In order to ensure adequate time for the execution of these responsibilities Medical Directors are allocated a standard 4 hours of administrative time (per week
– See Administrative Time Policy & Procedure).
If more time is required, prior authorization must be obtained from the Regional Medical Director.
