As a Pharmacy Technician in our Fulfillment department, you will be responsible for assisting with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with state pharmacy regulations. This role will report to a Pharmacy Technician Team Lead. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacyMaintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Work daily with the Pharmacist in Charge to ensure the right medications are put in the right packetsRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medicationsFill exception trays with appropriate medicationTransition PillPacks through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality controlCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription itemsPack and ship completed PillPacks including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxesSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right timeAid the distribution manager and distribution pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packingClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areasPackage medications for dispensing and for deliveryPerform other tasks assigned while working in a fast paced environmentBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school or equivalent diplomaState of Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration6+ months of relevant experience working with computer and web based toolsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team memberStrong organization skills and attention to detailAbility to recognize and identify patient medicationsExperience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and qualitySALARYRegistered Pharmacy Technician $15.00/hrCertified Pharmacy Technician $16.50/hrShift differential bonuses offeredSHIFTSSunday-Wednesday 7:00 am -5:30 pm or 5:30 pm -4:00 amWednesday -Saturday 7:00 am -5:30 pm or 5:30 pm -4:00 amPandoLogic.
