Responsibilities:
The vocational nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or Nurse Coordinator. The LVN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. The LVN identifies priorities and makes judgments concerning basic needs of multiple patients in order to organize care.

Location: Houston Refinery – will require travel to other LYB refineries based on need

Education
A.
Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.

Experience
A.
2 Years of LVN experience in an Occupational Health setting
B.
Ambulatory Care experience.
Licenses
A.
Current and valid LVN license in the state of the assigned location.

Special Skills
A.
Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population. Computer experience. Basic Medical & Nursing Terminology. Ability to read and write.
Completion of NIOSH approved Spirometry, DOT and CAOHC approved audiometry within 90 days of hire..

EPIC experience.
Ability to speak Spanish fluently.
