Patient Care Screener (PT)

As a Patient Care Screener (part-time), you provide a friendly welcome to patients and guests of the hospital!

In this position, you will greet patients and guests, screen them as they enter, and answer any questions they may have.

Hours of Operation
Saturday / Sunday / Monday / Wednesday / Friday (Shifts vary).

5:00 A.M.to 3:00 P.M.
12:00 P.M.

to 8:00 P.M.

Position Overview
Greets patients and guests upon arrival with a friendly and helpful attitude.
Take patients’ and visitors’ temperatures using a thermal temperature scanner when they enter the hospital.
Establishes rapport with patients and guests to create a positive experience.
Assist patients and guests with wheelchairs and transport them to their appointments.
Occasionally walk patients and guests to their appointments.

Position Requirements:
At least 18 years of age.
Willingness to wear a mask and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while working.
Ability to effectively build relationships with patients, guests, and team members.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to 8 hours at a time in an indoor environment.
Ability to assist patients in a wheelchair as needed.
Posses conflict resolution skills and experience when dealing with difficult situations.

Hospital Requirements:
COVID-19 Vaccination (Required).
Must receive FLU vaccine before 10/31/2021
– proof of vaccine required.
