This individual will be working closely with physician assistants, medical providers and medical staff in order to ensure the accurate and timely transcription of medical information into the EMR system.Responsibilities+ Excellent people management, interpersonal and team working skills+ Ability to work within a diverse group of employees and personalities+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail+ Excellent time planning skills+ Ability to multi-task and follow-up on a number of current projects+ Help maintain a clean, courteous and professional working environment+ Ability to provide compassionate care to patients+ Ability to work on own initiative+ Flexibility and enthusiasmDesired Skills and Experience+ Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills+ Competence in EMR, Athena Health System, Google applications, Word and Excel+ Excellent problem-solving skills+ Ability to handle stressful situations with discretion and professionalism+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing+ Demonstrate logical reasoning and critical thinking skills+ Detail-oriented with highly organized work skills+ Knowledge of medical terminology and treatment processes+ Effective listening skills with excellent customer service skills+ Secondary language is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese)Education and Certification+ Graduate with a BA/BS degree+ 1
