Overview of Position Experienced professional Pathology coder is responsible for daily coding, denial management, charge hold, RAI resolution and abstraction.
The coder is responsible for escalation of coding questions and request for coding guidance to the Coding Coordinator and/or Supervisor.
Participate in internal QA audits and provide feedback in the compliance QA process.

Lead Coder or Supervisory experience a plus Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Professional Coding Certification CPC, CCS or CCS-P.
Physical requirements: Can work remotely What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Must have experience in Pathology codingExcel skill requiredAbility to code CPT and ICD-10.Organized and detail-oriented is criticalComputer literateAbility to communicate written and verbal with team members and client.What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
