Part Time Clinical Director Job in Laguna Hills, CA (Counseling/Therapy #)

DirectShifts is seeking a Part Time Clinical Director Job in Laguna Hills, CA
->Master’s (Preferred)
->Supervising Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
->Leadership Experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Qualifications:

1.

Licensed Counselor/Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (MFT) AND preferred five years or more of clinical experience in the field of chemical dependency.

2.

No less than two years of experience in program and team management in the field of alcohol and/or drug addictions.

3.

Academic background or experience in management.

4.

Ability to address groups effectively in educating and promoting treatment.

5.

Have LMFT or other licensure.

Duties:

1.

Collaborates with the Director of Operations in all phases of administration.

2.

Provide clinical supervision to both (2) associate therapists responsible for delivering services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders on a weekly basis.

3.

Trains all clinical staff to meet state, accreditation, and insurance requirements.

4.

Supervise all employees except for the Director of Operations and Admissions Coordinator.

5.

Interview, hire, schedule and discipline all clinical staff as required.

6.

Manage program sites, developing and making adjustments to clinical needs and programming as necessary.

7.

Perform clinical duties when necessary and supervise other staff’s performance of clinical duties.

This includes facilitation of groups, individual and family therapy.

8.

Works with the team to provide a quality program of recovery, including providing a safe and supportive treatment environment for staff and clients through conflict resolution and appropriate maintenance of boundaries.

9.

Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and to the professional code of ethics.

10.

Conform to JCHAO and state regulations and standards in delivery of all services and performance of duties.

11.

On call 24/7 for clinical emergencies and consultations.

12.

Intervenes as needed, clinically with clients in situations such as: crisis, crisis intervention, AMA risk, and special needs.

13.

Audits client records.

Responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly chart audit overview of accurate, concise documentation by clinical staff.

Ensures medical necessity is well documented to meet insurance standards.

14.

Other duties as assigned.
