PACU Nurse Manager

An innovative healthcare system in beautiful sunny Northern Georgia has a brand-new opening for a PACU Nurse Manager. The RN Manager PACU will be a key leader in the Nurse Management Leadership team and will oversee the daily operations of a fast paced PACU that cares for 60+ patients per day. 

The PACU Nurse Manager will report to the Unit Director, will collaborate and facilitate physician communication with the unit and OR, will ensure daily operations are compliant with unit policy and procedures, and will counsel staff when needed. The RN Manager PACU will work collaboratively with the Unit Director to prepare for regulatory agency reviews, department budget, and performance reviews.

The PACU Manager will have a strong Post Anesthesia Care Unit nursing experience and Nurse Leadership experience. The PACU Nurse Manager will work the evening shift with a possible flexible start time from around 12:00 pm – 9:30 pm. The RN Manager will oversee a self-contained PACU that supports a 20+ bed operating room suite that sees a variety of cases including Ortho, Neuro, General surgery, Cardiac, Robotics, and more.
