The Orthodontic Assistant’s primary focus is to perform different orthodontic procedures with the doctor which includes prepping the patients, assisting the Orthodontist, and closing all chairside procedures, all while creating a comfortable environment for the patient.

The Orthodontic Assistant will be responsible for knowing our policies and procedures to provide patients and families with orthodontic care instructions and dental health education.
* Prepare patients for procedures, assist Orthodontist during procedures and finish patient’s appointment.
* Be prepared for each procedure by reviewing patient notes to know what procedures will be done and what instruments will be needed.
* Provide patient and families with proper orthodontic care instructions, dental health education and diet recommendations.
* Help patient and parent feel comfortable at each visit.
* Communicate patient’s treatment needs to appropriate clinic staff.
* Take or order panorex x-rays for patient treatment.

* Pay Range $17
– $26 Hourly
