Covid Drive-Up
Responsibilities
The on-site NP will be collecting limited medical information from each patient, performing nasopharyngeal swabs, and charting. This job is performed in an “outside” environment. It is required that the NP be in full PPE (provided by drive-up) while onsite and seeing patients.
Hours of operation for the drive-up clinic are typically M-F 8-4 pm. This means we see patients between 8 AM and 4 pm. All staff are required to be at the site before and after the standard drive-up hours at the discretion of the site manager. Typically this is from 7:30/7:45-4:30 pm. Depending on volume there may be patient charting after the drive up. The Nurse Practitioner will help set up “hot tent” materials and supplies in the morning and will help tear down the “hot tent” after all patients have left.
*
The above hours are based on “typical operations”. Depending on patient flow the drive-up hours/ days may change. This could mean scheduling less/more than 5 days per week, possible weekend events, or evening hours. For unusual circumstances or changing hours, we will consult with staff before making these changes to ensure we have enough available hot and cold tent employees willing to work the changed schedules. This will be a Site Manager decision.
We pay $60/hour for the NP position. We will provide malpractice insurance at no cost to you. We do not offer benefits at this time.
