Nurse Manager Med Surg

A non-profit short-term acute care hospital urgently seeks a Nurse Manager Med Surg to join their Acute Care nursing team in gorgeous Northern California!

Accredited by the Joint Commission, the hospital offers comprehensive services including inpatient and outpatient care, medical and surgical services, and diagnostic and emergency care.

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager Med Surg will oversee 18 Medical Surgical beds with an average census of 10-12.  The Nurse Manager Med Surg will be well supported by a skilled team of 25-30 FTEs, including Registered Nurses, CNAs, and a unit secretary. 

The Nurse Manager Med Surg will provide collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services. The Nurse Manager Med Surg will be responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning.
