An established acute care hospital located in north western Iowa is currently searching for an experienced Nurse House Supervisor to join their accredited healthcare team.
The Nurse House Supervisor will join a fully accredited 250-bed acute care hospital that provides a variety of primary, acute, and tertiary care services. This acute care hospital is proud to be a member of a national healthcare system that spans more than 20 states and encompasses roughly 100 acute care hospitals. Known as a regional medical center for the tri-state area, this facility has earned more national recognition for quality and patient outcomes compared to any other hospital in the region. This system has received multiple honor awards in regards to cardiac care, orthopedic services, vascular surgery, stroke care, and cancer care.
Under limited supervision, the Nurse House Supervisor will lead the clinical and administrative functions of the patient care areas. The Nurse House Supervisor will assess, plan, organize, and evaluate the patient care provided system wide with a focus on operations effectiveness. The Nurse house Supervisor will promote employee development, improve clinical and administrative strategies, and work collaboratively with many in-patient hospital departments.
The Nurse House Supervisor will act as a transformative leader within the organizations clinical teams and work to promote a positive culture that is conducive to effective and efficient patient-centered care. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing, along with current state nursing licensure. At least 5 years of prior clinical nursing experience, and a minimum of 2 years of prior leadership is required.
