Mobile Health Vehicle Driver

SUMMARY: Under general supervision, safely and responsibly drives TCA Health’s Mobile Health Clinic vehicle to and from variety of locations in Chicago’s south communities and nearby suburbs.

Essential Functions:

· Performs pre-trip inspection procedure to prepare the vehicle for travel

· Picks-up and drives the vehicle to location, as per the established daily schedule

· Performs site preparation procedures to ready the vehicle for operation upon arrival at destination

· Returns vehicle to the clinic and performs shut down procedures, including onboard generator, water/waste tank, septic and power, any and all electronic equipment, such as computer, printer, fax, etc., returning vehicle to designated facility at the end of event(s)

· Performs necessary procedure for storing the vehicle in cold weather

· Performs fueling and refueling the vehicle before and after events

· Maintains and checks equipment for malfunction and/or damage

· Performs basic upkeep of the unit(s) including: emptying the trash, sweeping the floor, and dusting surfaces

· Responsible for inventory of Mobile Health Vehicle (MHV), including electronic assets, equipment, supplies and other items associated with the MHV

· Greets members and provides reception services

· Provides excellent customer service to patients, students, their parent(s) and staff

· Works closely with clinical staff

· Exhibits strong interpersonal skills

· Stocks and supplies medical office materials (some lifting required of up to 75 pounds, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, bending, squatting, etc.)

· Cleans and organizes vehicle (in between scheduled EVS).

· May perform other duties as required

The position may, from time-to-time, include Saturday shifts, consisting of 5 hours.

Qualifications: Driver’s License (CDL required) ); Clean driving record

Must pass a background check/drug screen

Previous experience in driving large vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
