Mental Health Technician

TTF is recruiting for a Clinical Assessor to work with a well-respected healthcare organization located in Phoenix, Arizona. This position has excellent benefits, with 5 weeks of paid time off per year, and a competitive pay scale.

The ideal candidate would be a Behavioral Health Technician who has been credentialed and privileged by the designated RBHA, or is a licensed professional who is responsible for conducting the initial screening, intake, and assessment with any individual who is referred to the organization for outpatient services. 

This position requires a minimum of a HS Diploma/GED, as well as 6 weeks of behavioral health work experience, including onsite direction from a behavioral health professional. Must have a driver’s license and clear 39-month MVR.

Job Requirements:

• Develop current behavioral health marketing materials
• Perform assessment of behavioral health patients and prescribe appropriate treatment modalities
• Take inquiry call for behavioral health services
• Integrate behavioral health services into a primary care setting
• Providing exemplary behavioral health care services in a collaborative patient-centered environment
• Directed toward providing behavioral services for population health
• Experiencing emotional and behavioral disorders
• Assist in performing behavioral assessments in response to reports of behavioral abnormalities
• Operating in an integrated behavioral health delivery model
• Conducting assessments of individuals needing behavioral health intervention
• Coordinate the behavioral and physical health care needs of service participants
• Provide behavioral health care to patients suffering from psychiatric and chemical dependency illnesses
• Observe animals and report behavioral abnormalities
• Assure behavioral health issues considered and addressed for all high risk patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage the behavioral health conditions of patients
• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility
• Attend behavioral health and/or medical rounds at the care center, perform e-consults as needed, collaborate with care center teams on both medical and behavioral health aspects
• Providing treatment plan to patient based on observations of patient behavior
• Educate and the patient about mental health problems
