Position Purpose:
Job Description Details:
Analytical ability necessary to calculate charges and dosage, determine infusion completion from rates of flow, and convert units of measure. Ability to weigh and measure. Basic typing skills. Ability to operate computer ( PC or mainframe system) Physical ability required for prolonged periods of standing and walking. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with nursing personnel concerning patient drug orders.Level of knowledge equivalent to that acquired following high school, through the completion of approved pharmacy technician program or three to six months experience with acquired basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals. MUST BE A STUDENT IN A Health Professional Training Program, or graduate of the program preparing to take exam with temporary license or full licensed by the State of Michigan.
