MEDICAL DIRECTOR (CONTRACT – PART-TIME) (Physician #)

Immediate need for a part time Pathologist (Contract Physician) to serve as a Center Medical Director.

Excellent opportunity to earn supplemental income.

You will not be seeing patients in this role, you will oversee EMT/LPN/RN and will primarily be quality checking work and information and signing off on that.

This position is approximately sixteen hours per month in the office.

Candidate must have the flexibility to be on-site at the location once per week (four hours per week).

The physician must be available for phone calls while the Center is open, there are approximately three short calls per week.

Responsible for ensuring donor suitability, product integrity, and the continued good health of donors through compliance with FDA regulations the Donor Center SOP.

Primarily responsible for quality checking work and information and signing off on that.

On-the-job training is offered.

Qualifications: BC or BE, MD or DO Pathologist with an active Pennsylvania Medical License.

Minimum one year of experience is required.

Current DEA License is desired.

Must be detail oriented.

Clean license and malpractice history is desired.
The Center is conveniently located to York, PA.
