- Making outbound calls to patients, insurances, and offices
- Verifying the EOB’s (Explanations of Benefits)
- Handling claims; denials; overpayments/underpayments.
- Scanning medical records into the system
What is preferred of the Medical Collections Specialist?
- 2+ years of Medical Collections/Medical Billing experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Good customer service skills
- Good critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Ability to work as a team player.
