Job Summary: Functions as a member of the practice clinical care delivery team to provide selected clinical care to patients under the direction of an LPN, RN, or medical provider. Performs clerical/administrative duties associated with medical practice front desk operations under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director and/or Site Manager or Office Coordinator. May be required to work in a variety of practice settings. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of a program for Medical Assistant/Administrative Medical Assistant. Demonstrates initiative and is able to function independently as well as collaboratively. Demonstrates the ability to accept, and adapt to change. Demonstrates time management and organizational skills. Excellent computer skills, including EMR, word processing and Excel. Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills. Accepts and recognizes differences among people. Preferred Qualifications: Associate?s degree in Medical Assisting preferred. Minimum of three (3) years recent experience in a physician office practice setting.
