Licensed Therapist – Elmira – Sign On BONUS Available

This lifespan team treats diverse clients of all ages, typically of higher acuity and many of whom present with severe and persistent mental illness.n n About The Role.n n The Licensed Therapist on the Elmira Counseling Center team is responsible for facilitating recovery and optimal quality of life in clients with behavioral health concerns, by providing clinical services, case management and education.

In collaboration with the client, you will create and carry out a consistent plan of treatment, from intake and assessment to closure.n n Responsibilitiesn Conduct diagnostic assessments, individual, family and/or group therapy with assigned clients.

Develop and monitor treatment plans; update at required intervals.

Consult with internal and external professionals and collaterals to ensure access to needed services and proactive coordination of care.

Provide clinical case-management services as needed.

Provide crisis intervention as appropriate.

Provide comprehensive clinical services designed to decrease symptoms and improve quality of life.

Assist clients to evaluate strengths and symptoms, and set their own goals.

Guide and instruct clients in coping skills.

Offer consultation to community partners and providers.

Ensure that billing information is up-to-date for assigned clients.

Seek insurance authorization for services as required.

Write reports and other correspondence, as necessary, and with appropriate releases.

Complete all requests to provide the necessary information and undertake the required activities to ensure timely and ongoing credentialing with third party payers.

Adheres to Code of Conduct, core values, policies, procedures, guidelines and compliance plan.n n About You.n n The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of previous experience providing therapy to adults as well as experience working with trauma and serious mental illnesses.

This role will primarily see adult clients seeking individual therapy services, but may also see families, couples, adolescents and children, depending on the need of the center.n nDemonstrates a history of, commitment to, and ongoing education in providing culturally responsive treatment to diverse populations.n nThis person will be skilled in conducting intakes and assessments, developing and monitoring treatment plans, providing individual and family therapy, documenting all activities and services in a timely manner and meeting billable service standards.n nOutstanding time management and organizational skills are important as each therapist monitors their own schedule.

Bilingual applicants preferred but not required; differential pay available for bilingual therapists.n n Due to COVID, this role is presently working remotely and via tele-health to serve clients.

The Elmira office is located at 791 Chambers Road, Aurora, CO.n n Requirementsn Master’s degree in human services field.

Min: Two years’ experience providing clinical care to appropriate client population, including conducting individual, family and/or group therapy.

Professional licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC.) Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.

Excellent organizational skills.

Knowledge of theories and evidence based practices related to clinical treatment.

Ability to learn and utilize an electronic health record with proficiency.

Solid understanding of mental illness and treatment modalities within multidisciplinary approach.

Knowledge of DSM-V.

High level of interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to understand and effectively respond to all client presentations.

Ability to document interactions with clients, other agencies and mental health professionals.n n Compensation, Benefits & Perks.n n Salary for this role (based on experience and company equity) :n Licensed Therapist: $53,000
– $73,000 annuallyn n Sign On Bonus Tiersn n Additional Compensation Opportunities:n $2000 for Unlicensed Therapist and Unlicensed Psychologist.

$3000 for Licensed Therapist and Licensed Psychologist.
