Licensed Practical Nurse – Med Surg

JOB PURPOSE:  Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the LPN will provide direct patient care, meeting both psychological and physical needs of the patients in accordance with physician’s orders, JCAHO, OSHA, nursing and department guidelines.  The LPN fulfills these duties to contribute to the continuity and quality of care fostering the best interest and well being of all patients and their families. 

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of program for Practical Nurses with an appropriate degree in Nursing and licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of West Virginia renewed annually. 

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and conduct self in a courteous and professional manner.  Collaborates with other health care members to maintain a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
