Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN / All Shifts / Hospice Facility / PRN

Interim HealthCare is currently seeking compassionate per diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) in the Scotch Plains, NJ area to work various days of the week at a Hospice Facility. The shifts vary from day to day; however, the shift assignments are:

• 7:00am to 3:30pm
• 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• 11:00pm to 7:30am

Work when you want to, where you want to, from as little as 1 shift to 5 shifts per week!

Essential Job responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with the facilities needs
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients’ condition, reporting changes to facility RN
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided

Experience & Education Requirements:

• Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey
• Six (6) months of experience in hospital or long-term care environment required
• Current CPR certification
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal history background check at time of hire
• Reliable transportation
