Sign on Bonus of $5000 available with a two year commitment Job Duties: Perform direct resident care, applying good nursing judgment and knowledge of skills as required within the realm of job responsibilities 100% of the time.
Report all observations and concerns to Director of Nursing or Physician.
Document accurate and pertinent information in resident’s medical record.
Demonstrate competency in clinical and technical skills, complete skills checklist and correctly perform skills daily.
Demonstrate ability to assist C.N.A.
with resident care as needed, included but not limited to positioning, transferring, feeding and bathing residents.
Demonstrate the ability to supervise others and assist in promoting a healthy work environment.
Demonstrate ability to administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by the physician.
Efficiently prioritize work and use time wisely to accomplish task in timely manner, as well as the ability to accept and respond to change in work environment in a way that promotes the facilities goals and objectives.
Will treat all residents, family, visitors and coworkers with dignity and respect.
Specific Requirements: One year experience in Long Term Care Nursing is preferred.
Must successfully complete 90 day orientation as an LPN with satisfactory 90 day performance evaluation.
Maintain current CPR Must be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of West Virginia.
